Frequently asked questions

Which PostHog plans are supported?

The PostHog MCP server is free to use and available across plans. Connecting it and running agent queries does not incur additional PostHog charges.

Can the agent modify feature flags or experiments?

The agent reads feature flag states and experiment results but does not modify them. Changes to flags and experiments still require a human decision in PostHog.

What analytics data can the agent query?

The agent can query trends, funnels, retention, session recordings metadata, feature flags, experiment results, error tracking logs, and run custom HogQL queries against your PostHog data warehouse.
