AI and Credit Supplementary Terms
Last updated: May 29, 2026
These terms supplement the main Terms of Service and apply to any use of the Revelica product agent, agent-driven Insights, agent skills, playbooks, and MCP access.
Any capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.
1. Definitions
"Agent" means any artificial-intelligence-powered functionality within Revelica that performs work on your behalf. This includes the interactive Revelica product agent, agent-driven playbook runs, scheduled or event-triggered skill executions, and any future autonomous capabilities Revelica introduces.
"Automated Action" means the ability of the Agent to initiate multi-step plans, call tools and skills, write to your Workspace, and write to integrated third-party services through MCP or other connectors, whether triggered interactively by you or by a scheduled or event-based trigger.
"Credit" means the unit of value consumed when the Agent performs work that creates or updates an Insight in your Workspace. Credits are described in more detail in the Pricing page and on each Insight template.
"Insight" means a structured artifact produced by the Agent (or by you) in your Workspace. Examples include Interview Snapshot, Competitive Landscape, Experience Map, Idea, Bet, Experiment, and Story Map. Each Insight has an "Insight template" that defines its structure and credit cost.
"Insight Template" means the Revelica-published or community-published definition for an Insight, including its structure, output schema, and credit cost. Insight templates are listed at revelica.com/templates/insight.
"Input" means content you (or a coding agent acting on your behalf through MCP) provide to the Agent. Input includes prompts, attached files, OAuth-authorized integration content the Agent reads, and any other material the Agent processes.
"MCP Access" means access to your Workspace through the Revelica Model Context Protocol server at api.revelica.com/mcp. MCP Access is authenticated using your Revelica user identity through OAuth 2.1. Any coding agent or third-party tool you authorize through MCP acts on your behalf, with the same data access scope you have.
"Output" means content the Agent generates and returns to your Workspace, including the contents of Insights, suggested next actions, chat responses, and any structured artifacts.
"Playbook" means an orchestrated sequence of agent skills that produces one or more Insights. Playbooks are listed at revelica.com/templates/playbook.
"Workspace" means the Revelica workspace you administer and the teamspaces and content within it.
2. Credit consumption
What spends Credits. Credits are consumed when the Agent saves a new Insight or updates an existing Insight. The amount of Credits consumed by a given action is determined by the Insight template, which may set different Credit costs based on the depth of work involved, the AI model used, and the amount of data processed. Each Insight template page lists its Credit cost.
What does not spend Credits.
- Anything you do yourself in the Canvas (creating, editing, organizing content)
- Conversations with the Agent that do not result in an Insight save or update
- Reads and queries the Agent performs against your Workspace
- Work driven by your coding agent through MCP Access or our coding-agent plugins, since the agent work in those scenarios is performed by your chosen coding agent (Claude Code, Cursor, or other), not the Revelica product agent
Edit pricing. When the Agent updates an existing Insight, the Credit cost is half the Credit cost of creating the same Insight type.
Credit allocation order. Monthly Credits included with your Subscription Plan are consumed first. If your Subscription Plan includes additional Credit allocations (such as a future annual or on-demand allocation), those are consumed after Monthly Credits per the order described in the Pricing page.
Credits do not roll over. Unused Credits expire at the end of each monthly billing period. Credits are not refundable, transferable, or redeemable for any other Subscription Fees.
Reaching your limit. When you reach your Credit Limit:
- The Agent will warn you in advance as you approach the limit
- The Agent will complete any playbook or skill that is already running
- After that, Agent operations that create or update Insights will pause until your next monthly reset or until your Workspace admin adds Pro units through Settings > Billing
- Everything else in Revelica remains usable, including reading and editing existing Insights, chatting with the Agent, and organizing your Workspace
- A capacity indicator in the sidebar shows your remaining Credits at all times
Credit cost changes. Artificial-intelligence costs evolve as service providers innovate and new models are released. Revelica reserves the right to modify Credit costs for individual Insight templates and the Credit allocations included with each Subscription Plan. Material changes will be reflected on the affected Insight template pages and on the Pricing page.
3. Input and Output
When you use the Agent, your Inputs and Outputs are your Customer Data. You retain ownership of your Inputs and your Outputs. Revelica assigns to you all of its rights, if any, in the Outputs.
You are solely responsible for your Inputs and your use of Outputs, and you represent that:
- You have all necessary rights, permissions, and consents to provide the Inputs (including any third-party data retrieved through integrations you have authorized)
- Your Inputs and use of Outputs comply with all applicable laws
- Your Inputs and use of Outputs do not violate these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Acceptable Use Policy, or the rights of any third party
You acknowledge that machine-learning systems may produce similar or identical Outputs for different users. Revelica makes no claim of uniqueness for any specific Output.
4. Use restrictions
You may not use the Agent, your Inputs, or your Outputs:
- To develop foundation models or other large-scale AI models that compete with Revelica
- To mislead any person that Output from the Service was solely human-generated
- To generate spam, deceptive content for electoral campaigns, or content intended to defraud
- In a manner that violates the Acceptable Use Policy, the published documentation for any specific Insight template or playbook, or any applicable Anthropic or OpenAI usage policy that applies to Output produced by their models
5. Automated Actions and MCP Access
You control the configuration of Automated Actions through your Workspace permissions, your integrations with third-party services, and your scheduled or event-based triggers. You are responsible for all Automated Actions executed within your Workspace and their consumption of Credits.
When you authorize an external coding agent through MCP Access:
- The coding agent acts on your behalf using your authenticated Revelica session
- The coding agent can read, save, and update Insights in your Workspace within the same Row Level Security boundaries that apply to you when you act directly
- You are solely responsible for the actions the coding agent takes, including any writes to your Workspace and any onward writes the coding agent makes to third-party services it has been separately authorized to access
- Revelica logs MCP transport on every write so you have a clear audit trail of which writes were performed through MCP versus direct interactive use
6. No training on your Customer Data
Revelica does not use your Customer Data to train, fine-tune, or improve any artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. Your use of the Agent does not grant Revelica any right or license to your Customer Data for model training.
Revelica relies on third-party AI providers ("AI Sub-processors") including Anthropic and OpenAI. We have contractual commitments with each AI Sub-processor prohibiting them from using your Customer Data to train any of their models. A current list of AI Sub-processors is published at revelica.com/sub-processors.
We may use limited operational data we collect from your use of the Agent — such as voluntary thumbs-up/thumbs-down feedback, error reports, and aggregate, de-identified usage telemetry — to evaluate model behavior and improve our service. We will not use the content of your Inputs or Outputs for this purpose without your explicit permission.
Free-plan policy is evolving. We are exploring opt-in ways for users of the Free plan to contribute anonymized data to community benefits (such as a shared library of de-identified discovery patterns). Any such program will be opt-in only, and we will publish the full policy before any change.
7. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER
REVELICA DOES NOT MAKE ANY WARRANTY AS TO THE RESULTS THAT MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE AGENT OR THE ACCURACY OF ANY OUTPUT. YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT ANY OUTPUT, AND ANY AUTOMATED ACTION TAKEN BY THE AGENT WITHIN YOUR WORKSPACE OR WITH ANY THIRD-PARTY SERVICE, IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR MONITORING AUTOMATED ACTIONS WITHIN YOUR WORKSPACE AND ANY CONNECTED THIRD-PARTY SERVICES, FOR REVIEWING OUTPUT BEFORE RELYING ON IT, AND FOR INDEPENDENTLY FACT-CHECKING ANY FACTUAL CLAIM IN OUTPUT. OUTPUT THAT APPEARS ACCURATE BECAUSE OF DETAIL OR SPECIFICITY MAY STILL CONTAIN MATERIAL INACCURACIES. OUTPUT MAY NOT ACCOUNT FOR EVENTS OR CHANGES OCCURRING AFTER THE UNDERLYING AI MODEL WAS TRAINED.
NO INFORMATION OR ADVICE, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, OBTAINED FROM REVELICA OR THROUGH THE AGENT CREATES ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY MADE HEREIN.
8. Disclosure to your users
If you present Output to other people (your team, customers, executives, regulators), you are responsible for disclosing that the content was AI-assisted where context requires. This obligation is consistent with the Anthropic Usage Policy and the OpenAI Usage Policies, which apply to Output produced by their respective models.
9. Service-level commitment carveout
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in any service-level commitment we may publish, downtime of the Agent or of any AI Sub-processor that results from a failure of a third-party AI service provider does not count toward our availability calculations.
10. New features
We may introduce new Agent features from time to time. New features are considered part of the Agent and subject to these terms. We may modify these AI and Credit Supplementary Terms to incorporate new features; material changes will be reflected in the Last updated date at the top of this page.
